30DC – Day 7 Complete

I haven’t been whipping through the 30 Day Challenge lessons but have been making steady progress. The last two weeks has been spent moving a month’s worth of content to this blog and adding original content to the Best Temecula Wine Tasting site.
Nevertheless, I’m still very impressed by the 30 DC lessons and am [...]

Moved to WordPress and My Own Domain on HostGator

I moved my information marketing blog from a free Blogger account to using WordPress with my own domain (informationmarketingblog.com). This is actually an add-on domain hosted on HostGator.
It was not simple and I had second thoughts several times during the multiple day ordeal. The WordPress import tool simply didn’t work (despite moving [...]

Another Thumbs Up for the 30 Day Challenge (30DC)

What I like best about the 30 Day Challenge is that they focus on creating killer content. Yes, Ed Dale talks about “Google Juice” but his focus is on connecting with human beings via interesting content and then finding out what they would be interested in buying. In contrast, other programs seem to [...]

30DC - Day 2 Complete

I licensed the full version of Market Samurai ($87), watched Ed Dale’s videos, and all of Noble Samurai’s Video Tutorials. Good stuff/amazing stuff. Whew!
I wonder how much I’ll retain tomorrow. The last video taught me about Blog Pingbacks from Market Samurai. I’m going to test it in the next post.
I love learning new stuff and [...]

There is No Charge for Awesomeness

Good thing too or I’d be broke. I finished the Preseason Training for the Thirty Day Challenge (30DC) and there has been lots of AWESOMENESS. The lessons covering Twitter and FriendFeed where indeed awesome. Since they’ve earned my trust, I’m following Ed Dale’s instructions without question (which is not my normal mode). The only install/service [...]

Review of WordPress Direct

IM Geek Girl has a great review of WordPress Direct. Lisa has used the service and points out the pros and cons. It’s a joy to find this type of Web content. I ponder about the odds of WordPress Direct creating a similar quality post that would generate the same degree of reader satisfaction.

30 Day Challenge (30DC): I’m In Pre-Season

I recently stumbled on the 30 Day Challenge (30DC) and signed up for the 30DC e-mail notification list four days ago. Ed Dale’s first e-mail was to sign up for the Private Members area. I finally got around to that yesterday and began reviewing the 30DC Pre-Season Training.
I am extremely impressed by the content. The [...]
